Hi All!

I am super excited to finally create my own site. I had been thinking about starting a blog for a very long time as a way to just write my random thoughts and kept putting it off. I started off with a page on tumblr but have decided it would be more fun for me to make a site I can call my own.

Well today is the day I begin this blogging journey! I do not have a set plan on a single topic or theme but for now they will vary along a wide spectrum. They will incorporate different facets of what makes me ME!

A little about me:

I am a 30 year old (until June rolls around) Hispanic woman. I am a daughter, mother, scholar, professional, partner, friend, and so many others! I pride myself in being a professional student! I simply can’t seem to stay out of school for too long. Learning is everything for me! I am a mom to a beautiful 10 year old girl and a handsome baby boy. I recently graduated with my 2nd Master’s degree (told you I love school). I am in a relationship and have been for a few years. I love to take pictures especially candids. Everything about capturing a moment overjoys me no matter if that moment is a good or sad one. I am a counselor in my professional life which is odd to me sometimes as I tend to express myself better in writing than verbally. However, I am pretty good at having others open up to me. The irony!

My mind is constantly going! I am always thinking and this blog will be a way for me to express those thoughts or feelings I have at any given day. I will also incorporate reviews of different items, places, things, activities that I use or participate in. I enjoy reading reviews (on Google, Yelp, different brands, restaurants, etc.) as well as writing them so I figured why not incorporate it on here. Some days I might just post a picture and some days I will go on and on to the point where you might stop reading (hopefully you will keep reading anyway).

Writing has always been a hidden passion of mine for many years. I believe it started in grammar school where I became a published poet for a poem called “A Christmas Angel” (*toot toot*). I have always been complimented on my writing and asked for assistance with anything ranging from a simple essay to resumes to personal statements to recommendation letters to etc!! Now that I have some free time, I wanted to let my creativity flow.
